AA Sciences, Priyanka Chopra - When Priyanka Chopra walked down the hall to say "I did" to Nick Jonas, one of the people who was considered most important in his life stood beside him: his mother.
On December 1, surrounded by a vast array of peonies, orchids, hydrangeas and roses in the palace courtyard, friends and family gather for the first wedding of the two couples - a Western ceremony that combines Jonas Christian education - right at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, in India.
When the string quartet was played, Chopra - wearing a Ralph Lauren dress, beads and hand embroidered, wrapped in a 75-foot veil - was escorted in the hallway by his mother, Madhu. Chopra's father, Ashok, died of cancer in 2013.

"I can't hold it back. I thought I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtain opened and I saw his face, it was like everything was fine, and I also knew I made the best decision in my life, "Chopra, 36, said about tying the knot to the man of his dreams.
Flanked by 12 brides and groomsmen, the groom, who wore a tuxedo black suit Ralph Lauren, married another important family member: singer / actor father Jonas, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr.
After they exchanged rings, which were designed by the famous Chopard house jewelers, they sealed their guild with a "magical," a guest said. "Looks like time has stopped."
On Sunday, they did it again, exchanging vows for the second time with a luxurious Hindu ceremony in the palace to honor Chopra's heritage.
The actress, who is also a successful film producer in India, wore a custom red leaheng (traditional full length leg skirt) by designer Sabyasachi while she was waiting for Jonas to arrive. Jonas also applied red orange powder called sindoor to Chopra to symbolize that he was married - and with that, one of his childhood wishes came true.
"When he put sindoor on my forehead, it was something I dreamed of since I was a kid," he said.
After the ceremony, the guests sat down to a traditional Indian dinner and reception. It all creates a series of memories that certainly still have a spinning head a few hours later.
"The song when I walked out, the look on his face when he first saw me, the look on my face when I first saw him in his Indian clothes," the actress said, noting her favorite moments. "And when I heard him read his oath, everything was over."
